I'm Heather. I am excited to join the Two Can Talk family as a Client Services Assistant . My role is to support the therapists in their work to bring a positive and welcoming atmosphere into the therapy centres.

Having trained as a paediatric nurse at the Great Ormond Street Hospitals for Sick Children in the early 80's, I have worked in paediatric ear, nose & throat and A&E settings. In later years, I have worked as a research nurse and clinical trial manager attached to NHS Blood & Transplant. I have also done loads of different things such as Panto production costumes, LARP, and have been a Children's and Young People's Advocate in church and ran after-school art clubs - which were immense fun - painting with chocolate!!!.

Amongst several hobbies, I have a City & Guilds qualification in Fashion Design. More recently I stepped out of nursing, taking early retirement, to care for and nurse my parents-in-law in their later years in our home. At that time, I also acquired a mini campervan and a gorgeous springer spaniel, named Maddi. Both are put to good use, visiting friends and family.
