Karen Hopkin
Occupational Therapist
Hello, my name is Karen Hopkin. I am an HCPC registered Occupational Therapist. Graduating in 2021 from the University of East Anglia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy.
My desire to become an Occupational Therapist grew after experiencing neurodiversity and health challenges within my own family. I am a mum of three, so I understand the great joys and challenges of raising a family.
I met the Two Can Talk team and was inspired by their supportive working environment and the concept of treatment through play. I am creative by nature and enjoy using that skill when working with children to support their development and progress. I am looking forward to working with the team, children, and their families.
My NHS background includes experience in triaging crisis, crisis intervention, and community therapeutic rehabilitation. I have been a mental health champion, ASD/ADHD champion and will continue to promote positive attitudes of neurodiversity and mental health.
