Rylee Shepherd

Hello, my name is Rylee and the first thing you should know about me is I have an Australian accent! I have always felt a deep passion for wanting to support children who were told they were "different" or couldn't do the things their friends could and this led me to find Occupational Therapy. Whilst studying I worked as a paediatric allied health assistant where I was able to support occupational therapists, speech therapists and psychologists who worked with children. This allowed me to have an in depth understanding of multi-disciplinary working and various diagnoses that affect children.

Since completion of my studies I have been lucky enough to travel with my work in both Australia and the UK and work in a range of settings including mental health, acute care (hospitals), schools, clients homes and clinics. Throughout all of these settings one thing has remained in the centre for me - getting to know my clients and their loves ones, what is important to them and how I can help them to achieve it.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling, swimming and going on walks where I can interact with other peoples 4 legged furry friends.
